I've been amiss in not mentioning that I have a few pieces up at the cultural webmag Thought Catalog. The most recent: On James Schuyler's Other Flowers. On No Great Lost, a reissue of '80s recordings by Atlanta art-rocker Kevin Dunn. An overview of long- or one-take music videos (OK Go, Erykah Badu, etc.), with reference to their roots in avant-garde film and performance video. More of these, short and long, appearing in the coming weeks.
